GANGGANGSULLAE

Ganggangsullae (강강술래) is a traditional Korean folk dance in which women join hands in a circle, singing and dancing together. Traditionally associated with the full moon and seasonal celebrations, the dance has long expressed community, friendship, and collective joy. In 2009, it was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
