We are excited to announce the commencement of Term 3 for the K-Pop Academy at the Korean Cultural Centre.

Calling all K-pop enthusiasts to embark on an electrifying dance journey and discover your inner K-pop star!

• Term 3 period: 4 October 2023 - 21 November 2023

• Class schedule:

  - Girl Group Choreography Intermediate Class: Tuesdays, 2PM - 3PM

  - Girl Group Choreography Advanced Class: Tuesdays, 3PM - 4PM

  - Boy Group Choreography Intermediate Class: Thursdays, 2:30PM - 4PM

  - Boy Group Choreography Advanced Class: Fridays, 3PM - 4PM

  - Vocal Intermediate Class: Fridays, 1:30PM - 3PM

• Venue: Korean Cultural Centre (267 Waterkloof Road, Brooklyn, Pretoria)

• Cost: Free

• Essentials to bring:

  - Comfortable attire and footwear

  - Water bottle

  - Face towel

• How to apply/audition:

  - All applicants must audition.

  - Vocal class applicants must submit an audio (or video) file.

  - Dance class applicants can either submit a video file, or attend THE K-POP ACADEMY - WORKSHOPS/AUDITIONS (https://forms.gle/QgWvodwvBPJXjUJR6) on 22 September 2023 to audition in person.

  - The digital audition submission should be sent to rokpcosa@gmail.com by 21 September 2023.

  *Please note that applicants must be 13 years of age or older.

  - Vocal: any song (Submission format: 2 min/mp4)

  - Girl Group Advanced Level: XG - GRL GVNG [0:55 - 01:18]

  - Girl Group Intermediate Level: NewJeans - Super Shy [01:04 - 01:29]

  - Boy Group Advanced Level: Exo – Kokobop

  - Boy Group Intermediate Level: Stray Kids - Super Bowl

  *All dance audition submission format must be 1 min/mp4.
