About KYEONG HAM
Kyeong Ham, principal oboist of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, is recognized as one of the most gifted oboists of his generation. He has earned top prizes at several prestigious international competitions, including joint winner of the ARD International Music Competition in Munich (2017), the Tchaikovsky Conservatory International Winds and Percussion Competition in Moscow (2010), the Iris Marquardt Prize (2010), and the International Academic Oboe and Bassoon Competition in Łódź (2011). In 2013, he won First Prize at the Muri International Oboe Competition in Switzerland, where he also received the Audience Prize by a wide margin and the Heinz Holliger Special Prize presented by Holliger himself.
