The King of Kings (2025)

Set in 19th-century London, the story begins with Charles Dickens (voiced by Kenneth Branagh) attempting to perform a reading of A Christmas Carol, only to be interrupted by his imaginative son, Walter, and their cat, Willa. He begins telling his son Walter the story of a true king—Jesus Christ. As Dickens narrates, Walter and his cat Willa are swept into a vivid, imaginative retelling of Jesus’ life, witnessing His birth, teachings, miracles, crucifixion, and resurrection.

Director, Screenwriter and Producer: Jang Seong-Ho

Seong-ho “Jay” Jang is one of the most respected filmmakers in Korea and an unparalleled pioneer in the visual effects realm. The King of Kings, which took 10 years to develop, is Jang’s most deeply personal project to date, a rich, vibrant and world-changing story that has allowed him to reach his peak of passionate filmmaking. The film is produced by Korea’s Mofac Studio, where Jang serves as CEO.
