KCC 케이팝 온 스테이지 – Kat & Jiyaad, Seth, DJ Boujeena

Start your weekend with a high-energy K-pop takeover at the Korean Cultural Centre!

This special edition of KCC K-Pop On Stage brings together live performances by Kat & Jiyaad and Seth, followed by a K-pop DJ set from DJ Boujeena and a crowd-favourite random dance session to keep the energy going. Expect an evening of powerful choreography, great music, and a vibrant atmosphere.

DJ Boujeena

Boujeena is a genre-blending DJ and co-founder of the Afrobeats-focused event, Gbedu Nights. Her sound moves seamlessly between Afrobeats, Gqom and K-pop, creating high-energy sets that bridge cultures and connect audiences.

She has performed internationally and at major festivals including Basha Uhuru and Homecoming Africa, and placed third in the HCE Artist on The Rise competition. She has also headlined both Pretoria and Johannesburg editions of K-pop and BTS-themed events. With standout performances at Tshwanefontein and Soundset Sunday, Boujeena continues to establish herself as one of South Africa’s most exciting DJs to watch.

Kat & Jiyaad

This powerhouse duo won World of Dance Duo South Africa and took first place at Dance Star, earning a Best Choreography nomination.

They’ve taught in the United States and collaborated with acclaimed choreographers Keone & Mari (BTS, RIIZE), bringing their storytelling to major stages like the Ubuntu x Korean Culture Festival and Mahindra Fusion Fest at SunBet Arena. They’ve also partnered with global brands including Sprite, Comedy Central, Red Bull, and G-Star RAW, continuing to push culture forward through movement.

Seth

Seth is known for his charismatic stage presence, blending strong personality with powerful movement.

In just six years of dancing, he has already competed internationally, placing first in all his sections and earning four championship titles with the World Lyrical Dance Federation. He has performed at the Afrikaans concert Kroné and walked the runway for L’Oréal.

He is set to host a technical demonstration and dance workshop in Cape Town next month, with a potential performance opportunity in Paris on the horizon.
